Proposal for the conversion of an old ski lift structure into an observation tower and reception terrace for visitors to the ski center. A long strip of plywood wraps around the existing structure to compose all aspects: stairs, terrace, observatory. The observatory takes the existing shape of the ski lift and exploits its pointed form as an indicator directing the eye away. The wooden band is digitally perforated with characters representing various winter and downhill activities.
